Jane is currently the Director of Major/National Sales with the Morris Publishing Group whose largest newspaper is the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville, Florida, where Jane currently resides. Jane was promoted to her current position after joining the Times-Union as Director of Database Marketing following a 15-year career at The Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina, where she held various positions including Media and Marketing Manager, Classified Sales Manager and Niche Division Manager.
Prior to joining the newspaper industry Jane spent 10+ years on the Advertising Agency and client side including as Media Director for the largest Advertising Agency in Charleston, media buyer for the largest Advertising Agency in New Orleans and Media Promotion Manager for WWL-TV in New Orleans. Jane is a graduate of Loyola University and has been active in the NTMC since 2002. While Jane resides in Jacksonville, her family resides in Charleston and they consider themselves a bi-city couple.

Duff is the TMC Sales & Operations Manager at The Arizona Republic. The last 12 years of his 26 year advertising career at The Republic has been spent managing all aspects of the TMC program. Responsibilities include developing and managing sub-zip targeted insert distribution, products & services including commercial printing. He has been a member of the NTMC since 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism/Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Duff & his wife, Teri reside in Gilbert, AZ.

Susan is currently the Advertising Director for Majors, National and Direct Marketing at the Baltimore Sun Media Group. Prior to moving to Baltimore two years ago, Susan lived in Houston, Miami, Denver, Phoenix and Colorado Springs working for an advertising agency or the market’s newspaper including the Rocky Mountain News, Arizona Republic and The Miami Herald. Direct marketing has been in her background since the late 90’s and, in her job prior to Baltimore, she started 9 direct mail programs in a variety of markets working for Freedom Communications. Susan grew up in Houston and has a BS from the University of Texas.

Rod is Direct Marketing Manager at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, responsible for development and implementation of the company’s TMC, SMC and Print & Deliver programs as well as multiple niche products and solo mail. He has 28 years of advertising/publishing experience, the last eight in Fort Worth. Before joining the Star-Telegram, Rod published Real Estate magazines in over 14 cities across the country and spent the first 13 years of his career with his hometown newspaper.
A member of NTMC since 2007, Rod is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BS in Advertising. He is a life-long resident of Denton, Texas where he and his wife, Lori, recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary.

Don is a career direct marketing professional who has spent the last 15 years in various stages of launch and expansion of targeted delivery businesses at newspapers: the Star Tribune of Minneapolis, the San Jose Mercury News, California Newspaper Partnership (CNP), and the Review-Journal in Las Vegas. He has first-hand experience with independent and Valassis partnership TMC’s, print & deliver procurement and distribution, private delivery distribution, and specializes in solo mail analytical targeting and fulfillment.
Prior to his work with newspapers, Don was a Marketing Director and Managing Director of Creative Services at Fingerhut Corporation, a leading direct marketing company in the industry. He holds a BA in Accounting from St. John’s University (Minnesota). Don and his wife, Mary, are empty-nesters with three daughters living in the Midwest, further explaining his hair color.

Chris Grow is entering his 18th year with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He has held several sales and leadership positions during his career with the company. In 2011, Chris was promoted to lead the newspaper's TMC efforts. Then, in 2012, he was promoted again to his current position, Director of Majors, National and Category Sales. Chris is now responsible for over three-quarters of the advertising revenue within the Display sales division. He has taken on several major initiatives for the company including the recent complete roll-out of a new TMC distribution program. A life-long Wisconsin resident, Chris currently resides in Brookfield with his wife Melissa and 10 year-old son Alex.

Adam is the PG Direct/Ad Operations Manager of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He has worked in the newspaper industry for nearly 16 years, spending the first seven at Lancaster Newspapers and the past last nine at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. In 2007, he transitioned from a Major Account Sales role into an Operations Management position. A year later, his role was expanded to oversee the sales efforts for P&D and direct mail programs under the banner of PG Direct. Since then has helped to drive new and incremental business using an analytical data-first approach to help best match advertising solutions with customer needs.
Adam is a 1996 graduate of Millersville University. He has been an NTMC member since 2010. He currently resides in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh with his long-time girlfriend, Malinda.

Philip is the Executive Director for the NTMC, succeeding Angela Thomas in October 2008. He is a 1972 Bachelor of Arts graduate of the University of Florida. After a year in Circulation with the Jacksonville Journal, he worked in Circulation and Advertising for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution from 1974 until retirement in 2008. At the AJC, he helped develop and implement the REACH/TMC shared mail program in 1981 and managed the AJC’s target marketing, newspaper insert and direct mail operations. He has been active in the NTMC since its inception in 1998. He implemented the NTMC email listserv in 1999 and served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer from 2000-2002 and At-large member from 2004 until March 2008. He and his wife Faye were married in 1973 and reside now in Decatur, a suburb east of Atlanta, GA.
